My Favorite Writing

I am not real sure what is wanted of us for this blog post so I am going to write about a book that I have read and enjoyed. The book the Alchemist written by Paulo Coelho was a very inspiring book for me. The story is about a Shepard whom meets a king who inspires that Shepard to find his life’s purpose and go for it. The author had a great way with words that really put you in the scene that he was describing." All you have to do is contemplate a simple grain of sand, and you will see in it all the marvels of creation. Listen to your heart. It knows all things, because it came from the Soul of the World, and it will one day return there." (p134) The book was not long, it was only about 175 pages or so but the impression the book left on me has lasted me much longer that the number of pages.
